"viewsize"
Do
not change viewsize, I know that many good players use it,
but it existing 2 reasons to change it, this value is very
old. The only visable different between 110 and 120 is on
Windows Video in Counter-Strike. The format will change from
4:3 to 16:9. Many Players think the 110 value will change
the hitboxes to hit other players easier.
"gl_polyoffset"
This
value is not really important, but you can see the very
different if you change the value to 1000 or 10000. With
this value you can see blood, spraylogos, etc. through every
wall. (This is illegal) If you have a GeForce Video Card
leave it on "0.1" or change it to "4" if
you have a ATI Video Card.
"gl_fog"
Not
very important, this value changes the little smokebuffers
on wallbaning if you change it to "1" from
"0". This can't change anything on your smoke
grenades.
"gl_dither"
If
you cange this value from "1" to "0" it
will bright up dark corners. (This is illegal).
ati_npatch
& ati_subdiv
Don't
ask... you disable it, no one will more support for
Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropische Filterung.
Do
not think it is imprtant to have a good config, a config
can't level up your skills. The real skills are in your
arms, fingers... don't change your settings - change your
attitude.
